ps- figure head has spoken, yang behormat- yang berhormat.. do your job. For the people and your country. Not for the pocket money and not for your family and cronies. Selamat bersidang.

hurmm.. reminds me of the WSF’s meeting in 2003 (“Porto Alegre”, 2003)when Martin Khor speaks of the people that are just disillusioned with the way the free market system works.

the wish of just seeing the governments play their proper political role in market regulation for social good nationally and internationally may be just a wish.

the government can do what ever it takes to make a country a fair place to live in but the definition of ‘fair’ nowadays seems overrated when money laundry’s at large, lenientility of the authoritical department is a norm and conformity among the political members is a must.

it’s pretty simple to say that when you get into ‘the system’ it is not about the principles that you fight about because eventually you have to conform to the ways of ‘the system’ works, bureaucracies and getting to the fact that certain procedures has to be endured just to get your word out to the public is a ‘strenuous’ effort.

that is maybe mainly the reason alternative movements or the underdogs of a country chose to work on their own helding protests as to get their voices listened out by the concerned parties. Because they believe actions should speak louder than words and such ‘bureaucracies’ are just one of the reasons for the government to ‘stall’ or think that these movements just want cheap publicity to get their names printed out in the papers.

ps: people now just go to tv stations to complain. u can even see the camera hoggers smiling at the background and making gestures as if they had never seen a camera before. that really annoys me sometimes, distraction even. just my two cents. apologies.
